Happy 1st Birthday Ethan!

Can you all believe it has been a year already? Our little man turned one year old yesterday, and we celebrated his birthday today. Aunt Amy, Miss Justine, and Uncle Jay were able to join us, and the grandparents joined us over skype. Ethan loved his balloons, and once he got one he was interested in nothing else. It was hard to get him to eat dinner, and open his presents, so his sisters and his mom helped him out. When it was time for his cupcake, he had no problem digging in right away.

Thank you Lord for giving us our little boy. We are blessed!

Ethan’s First Haircut

In an attempt to make sure our little man still looks like a boy I gave him his first haircut after his bath today. I didn’t want to cut too much off and make any mistakes, so I just did a little at a time. It looks so much better.

Eleven Months Old

Well, it is that time again, our little man is 11 months old. Just a few days before he turned 11 months he started to walk, and is having a grand time using his little legs. We have had some beautiful weather and Ethan has discovered how much fun it is to be outside. Click here to see the video of Ethan walking. You will have to wait a bit for it to load.

Ethan Needs a Hair Cut

But I don’t want to give him one yet. So, we tuck these little curls behind his ear. This is what he looked like after his nap.

Ten Months Old!

Yes! It is that time again. Our little man is growing up. Next time I blink he will be a year old. I thought he would be walking by now, but  thankfully not. He  likes to walk around the furniture and stand up, but hasn’t taken that first step. He is interacting more with his sisters. Poor guy, he mostly hears the word “NO” from his big sisters, but sometimes they get him laughing and share their toys with him. It is sweet to watch. His newest trick is standing up in his highchair, even when I have him buckled he manages to get out and stand. Luckily he has not fallen yet.  I had fun getting pictures of him, he’s a busy one so I had to act fast.
